Well, we just completed a big move from yahoo webhosting to godaddy.com and I don’t mind telling you that it has been a bit of a hassle. I think long term, it’s the wiser choice as they offer better service and more access to server functions. I guess it’s just the process of moving over that is a bit of a pain.

Anyway, I am afraid that we have lost our old blog but have upgraded to a new blog and will be able to most much more frequently.

For the record, the reason for the switch from yahoo was quite a lot of factors but the .htaccess file was the “final straw”. You see, yahoo webhosting doesn’t allow access to this file. They won’t let you upload your own. I found it was neccessary for SEO purposes to have access to this file and therefore I switched. I have two other sites through godaddy.com and have been happy with them so far.

Well, here’s to a new blog and a new start!
